Firstly I want to thank Cole for the invite to try out their new menu! Think of this as a little update from the last time.

Finding a menu that isn’t going to burn a hole in your pocket is one of the most challenging tasks you can encounter as a university student. To save the day, The Warehouse Group has established a chain of restaurants across multiple Canadian provinces. El Furniture Warehouse has become a hub for the youth with its scrumptious menu at very affordable prices. That’s right; whether your heart craves a BBQ chicken pizza, their famous west coast fish taco, or their Works Burger (definitely their most popular), you can get it all for under $10. Not only that, but with their new menu you have a new variety of choices too!

This eatery has definitely kept it’s high standards, the prices are no longer $5.95 for everything, but the couple of extra dollars on the menu is definitely justified. I tried out the Works Burger, as well as the wings, and must say that the taste experience was on par with my first. The only thing I would suggest would be slightly toasting the burger bun, and seasoning the meat more. The trip was great nonetheless.

The Warehouse being a bar-cum-restaurant, has been the go-to place for many of my friends. I said it before after my first great experience, and I will say it again, the spot is famous for all the right reasons. At first, I was skeptical about their portion sizes being too small considering the price, but I was very happy about not being given just two spoonfuls of food. The quality of food and drinks they delivered that night as well as yesterday definitely makes it ideal for a night out.

What made my first experience even enjoyable was the ambiance of their rooftop patio. With a beautiful rock wall amidst the wooden seating accompanied by the bar on one end and open skies above, the entire experience of dining is very aesthetically pleasing. Not to forget the minimalistic light bulbs which provide the perfect lighting for a casual photo shoot.

In short, Warehouse is the perfect inexpensive escape from everyday life, especially in the Ottawa summers. With friendly staff and their jovial crowd, you are in for nothing short of a memorable night out!
