Sitting bored stiff at 2am, my roommate and I decided to go out and grab a bite at a 24/7 place he referred to as “ESD”. A short walk and a bus ride later we reached “Elgin Street Diner”. Described in black and white, a neat diner located on Elgin St, Ottawa, is a spot that went above and beyond what I expected. With great prices, a great ambience, and a staff nothing short of inviting to compliment the joint, the 3am trip was even more worth while. Surprised to see a huge crowd as we got settled and even more surprised to see a line had built up by the time we left, this diner is definitely not your regular spot. Mentioning that the food and the portions of that had us satisfied would be an understatement for the both of us. Definitely a first class diner to visit on your trip to Ottawa!

Right: Poutine with a four cheese topping.
